I started earlier in the week and managed two art journal prompts. Two seems to be a good number for me right now. I have a third one in the works and am waiting on some time for it to dry.
We continue in the season of love, and these are some great, challenging prompts.
Challenge #1: Journaling prompt - I love things
I listed 100 things I love - from experiences to tangible goods. It's was a challenge and mostly because I wrote my list as I was working in my art journal. I kept losing track of how many I had written. I ended up working on a piece of paper to come up with the actual list (at least the end of the list). There are mostly likely 100 things I love, give or take a thing.

Challenge #3: Art prompt - Sew It
This was my favorite prompt. I was excited to get out my cross stitching materials and make something with them. It's been a long time since I've cross stitched anything, but it all came back to me. I have been desperately wanting to cross stitch some words. Cross stitching on paper was a learning curve. Paper is not as forgiving as cloth. I am happy with the end result. One string for each of the loves in my life, who go out the door each day to have adventures, sometimes with me, sometimes without me.
A prop shot:
I'm getting in the groove and seeing what the prompts inspire in me. Then I go with that idea, even if it gets messy or doesn't seem like the pieces are falling into place. I will work with that idea and do my best to make it work!
